I am in the process of releasing Version 5 of my old Best Friends novel. 'A Tale of Two Best Friends" and "Destiny for Two" were first conceived in the 70's as simple daydreams. The first real copy of Best Friends was around 10 chapters in the late 80's using some DOS based word editor I can't remember. During the mid/late 90's, the first published copy of Best Friends appeared on Roadrat's Rest Stop, (Version 2, 27 Chapters). A newer version of Best Friends was published at Roadrat's Scribble in 2000-7, (Version 3, 39 chapters). The latest version, version 5, was re-written in 2012 for use at this site. A partial version of Destiny also appeared but was never finished since that site host closed. Images from Destiny appear here with the recently rendered main character, Perla. Some pieces of Destiny appeared as short stories, such as Mandy's Morning at the Mall". Versions 4 and 5 of Best Friends are basically the same only version 5 has scenes to set up the sequel.
