Best Friends Chapter 5, 'Snow Day'

It is now 1970. A heavy snow just after New Year's Day cuts power and forces Lymann High to close the next day. The two best friends enjoy their day off making Kirla, a snowgirl! Kirby Ann meets Mary Beth Knoll and finally has a ride to school in the cold. The Locks see another reason why Kirby Ann can take care of things while the power is down.
